centre (UK)/center (Am)
theatre UK)/theater (Am)
Un saludo.

Hola.
En la frase 14:
- ...Susan *wan not* there. ¿en qué tiempo está puesto? ¿y de donde sale wan?
- She *had gone* home because she *felt* ill.
¿es incorrecto had not flown?
Hola Pili,
En cuanto a la frase "She was very nervous in the plane because she had never flown before", efectivamente se puede poner de ambas maneras:
She had never flown before (nunca antes había volado)
She had not flown before (no había volado antes)
She had not never flown before (incorrecta)
i have been to London.
no seria
i have been in London twice this year.
o i went to London twice this year?
encuentro un poco raro la preposición.
Me lo puede explicar :D GRacias"
Hola Lina,
I have been to London twice this year
"have gone to" se refiere a que alguien ha ido a algún lugar y todavía no ha vuelto.
Ejemplo:She has gone to do some shopping. She will be back soon.
"have been to" se refiere a que alguien ha visitado algún lugar en su vida y volvió, es decir una experiencia.
Ejemplos: Have you ever been to a U2 concert?
La frase "I went to London twice this year" no es correcta, no puede ir en Past Simple, ya que tiene relación con el presente (este año, hasta ahora). Podría ser "I went to London last year / I went to London last summer...", es decir, un pasado que no tiene relación con el presente.
